CleanKing is a phone cleaner: it finds duplicate photos and videos, large files, chat media, screenshots and old install files, shows app caches and the apps you no longer use, tests your internet speed and checks your phone's health. It is an independent app made by one developer.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data to a server of ours. There is no server.
• No accounts, no sign-in, no uploads of your photos or files, no location.
• Scanning and cleaning happen on your phone. Scan results stay in the app's memory and are gone when it closes; your last speed-test result is kept on your phone only.

Permissions and why we ask for them

• Photos and videos (optional): to list duplicates, large files, screenshots and chat media. Nothing is deleted until you confirm it in Android's own dialog, and no image leaves your phone.
• Usage access (optional): to read each app's size, cache and last-used time, so we can show caches and unused apps. Processed on the phone only.
• Request to delete packages: to open Android's uninstall dialog for an app you choose. Android asks you and removes it.
• Internet and network state: for the speed test, to show your network type (Wi‑Fi or mobile data), and to show ads.

Speed test

When you tap GO the app connects to Cloudflare's public speed-test servers to download and upload test data that contains nothing about you, and measures latency to public measurement endpoints on Google Cloud. Like any internet connection, these servers see your IP address; we send them no personal data.

Advertising

The app shows ads through Google AdMob: banners on the app's screens and a full-screen ad after a scan or a speed test finishes. No ads are shown the first time you open the app. Google may collect the device advertising ID and technical data to serve and measure ads under Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy . Where required, you will be asked to choose between personalised and non-personalised ads, and you can change that choice in the app's Settings.

Children

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not designed for children.
